The First Unitarian Church of Buffalo (aka Unitarian Universalist Church), in recognition of its significance in American history and culture, was listed on the STATE REGISTER OF HISTORIC PLACES as of April 21, 2015, and the NATIONAL REGISTRY OF HISTORIC PLACES as of June 30, 2015.
 
The nomination was completed by a committee headed by Tom Yots and including Bill Parke, our church historian, Giorgio Giovinazzo, architect and member of the congregation and former interim minister Margret O'Neall.  

Our deepest thanks to all who contributed to the hardwork that was put into making this designation a reality.
