Stewardship

Picture
A Unitarian Universalist Church is self-sustaining, relying on the active participation and financial support of its members and friends to thrive in today's world. The primary source of funds for the church is the financial commitment members make to support the ministries, operations, building, outreach and other activities that are part of our beloved church community.

Each year, the members of the congregation are asked to make a pledge of financial support, letting the church know the level of their giving for the coming year. This process allows church leaders to prepare a budget, approved by the congregation, to fund the activities and programs of the church.  The Fair Share Giving Guide provides suggested giving levels to reflect your commitment and ability to do your fair share in supporting the church.

Historically, almost three-fourths of our general operating funds are provided by pledged income.  Because such a large percent comes from pledged income, it is critical that we determine how much pledged income we can anticipate each year.

Click for How to Pledge (these options work for other donations as well).

It is understood that financial situations sometimes change.  If you need to revise your commitment, please contact the minister or the office.

Always feel free to communicate with us at any time about your connection with the church. We value each of our Members and Friends, and we are working every day to find more effective ways to communicate and keep you connected to this wonderful community of liberal faith.
